I recently shared my thoughts on the declining education standards in Australia and New Zealand in a piece in The Spectator Australia. It seems to me that we have become distracted and moved away from the core subjects, including English, Maths, Science, History, Geography and Languages. Simply changing the emphasis and redirecting it back towards the core subjects could bring Australia and New Zealand back to the forefront of global education standards.
